Our mission is to seek out and target smaller community needs in Mexico where we can provide Engineering, Health & Educational solutions to benefit their specific needs & improve the community. Providing Opportunities for Youth Empowerment Through Olive Shed Initiatives

At The Olive Shed, we are dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders through hands-on learning and community-building. After our successful initiative to provide backpacks and school supplies to underserved children in Los Cabos, Mexico, we’ve expanded our focus to support local youth programs that promote teamwork, skill development, and environmental sustainability.

Our flagship project introduces GILAYO®—a steel modular system that can be assembled into a variety of structures such as cabins, storage units, garages, and more. With the creation of GILAYO® JUNIOR, a smaller-scale version of this innovative system, we’re excited to give young people the opportunity to build and create. These units will be donated to youth programs, where children will work together to assemble them. This hands-on experience will teach them valuable construction skills, foster teamwork, and provide them with the tools they need to succeed in future ventures.

The best part? These structures will be used by the children in their future adventures, giving them not just a physical space, but a sense of ownership and pride in what they’ve created. As they preserve the natural beauty around them and learn sustainable building practices, they’ll develop a deeper connection to their environment.
